Privacy Policy

Summary

No account needed. No ads. We don’t sell your data. Your game lists, players, teams and scores are stored on your device. We receive only what is needed to identify and describe games, and what you choose to send us.

What stays on your device

Game lists, games you add, players and teams, scores, notes, ratings and the photos you attach to scorekeeper entries are stored on your device and are not uploaded to us.

What is sent to our servers

• Game identification and details. When you photograph a game or items with FusePhoto, or type a game, the photo or title is sent to our server and on to an AI provider (Anthropic) to identify the game and produce its details, or to Fuse a new game. Photos are used for that request. We cache the resulting game information (titles, rules, player counts) but not your photos.
• Random install identifier. A random ID generated by the app, not linked to your name, Apple ID or device identifiers. It is used for abuse limits and to route replies to feedback you send.
• Anonymous usage counts. Counts of features opened (such as Scorekeeper or Tools) and games played, to improve the app. They are not tied to you and exclude game names you typed, players, scores, notes and photos.
• Feedback you send. Your message, the screen you were on, basic device details (model, iOS and app version) and, only if you choose, a diagnostic log or crash report. The log lists screens visited and whether server calls worked; it has no game, player or text you typed. If you enter an email address in feedback, we use it only to reply.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses to deliver the service and prevent abuse.

Beta registration

If you register for the beta, we collect the email address on your Apple ID, your state (or “Outside the US”), whether you use an iPhone, Android or both, which description of how you play fits you best, about how many board games you own, how often you play, how many people usually play, and your confirmation that you are 13 or older. We store these answers together with your email address and the date you registered.

We need this to choose beta participants and to tell you whether your registration was selected. If you are selected, your invitation is sent by Apple’s TestFlight to the email address you gave us, so Apple receives that address to deliver it. We also use your email to send updates about the beta and the app’s launch, and we do not use your answers for anything else. Registering does not create an account.

We delete your registration 90 days after the app’s official launch on the Apple App Store. If you told us you use Android only, we delete it 90 days after the app’s official launch on the Google Play Store.

Camera and photo access

The camera and photo library are used only when you ask the app to identify games or find items for FusePhoto. You can revoke access in iOS Settings.

Service providers

Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Anthropic (AI processing of game photos and titles) and Resend (sending our feedback email). They process data only to provide those services.

Affiliate links

Some links in the app and on our website are affiliate links to other companies’ sites. When you follow one, you leave our app or site, and that company and its affiliate network may use cookies or similar tools to credit us for a purchase. We do not control their data practices, so please read their privacy policies.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Retention and deletion

Diagnostic logs are deleted after a short period. Feedback conversations are kept until resolved or you ask us to delete them. Email legal@fuseyourgames.com to request access or deletion of data tied to your feedback.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. The app includes adult and drinking themes, which can be turned off in the app’s settings.

We will post changes here and update the effective date.
